*GSM is an acronym standing for ‘Grams per Square Meter’. Quite simply, it allows artists, print buyers and print suppliers to know exactly about the quality of paper that is being used and/or ordered.
The higher the GSM number, the heavier the paper. Most printing paper has a gsm between 60 and 120. 80gsm is standard. Anything from 160gsm is considered card. GSM is a good guide to quality and your way of knowing the sturdiness of a print
